What are basic techniques to start felting?

1. Firm is the most important technique for needle felting. You don't have to firm very hard but still springs back when flattening mostly legs and head.
2. Roll body parts pretty hard before starting to felt to save some extra time.
3. Needle felting is a short stabbing motion into your wool. Your needle should not disappear into the foam block and should hardly pierce the foam.
4. When you felt any body part don't forget to turn. This will give your structure your finished product.
